“Together For Our Town” Prize Draw – Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter of this prize draw is Huddersfield Town Foundation (“the Promoter”), in partnership with Raise Your Game.
2. Eligibility
· The prize draw is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
· The winner and any travel companion must hold a valid passport and be eligible to travel to the United States.
3. Entry
· Entry details and mechanics will be as outlined in the campaign materials.
· Entries must be received by the closing date specified in the promotional material. Late or incomplete entries will not be accepted.
4. Prize
The prize consists of:
· A 7-day (6-night) VIP trip to Sacramento, California, USA
· Return economy airfare for the winner (and guest, if applicable)
· Accommodation for the duration of the stay
· A $500 (USD) prepaid Visa gift card
· Car hire for the duration of the trip
· Tickets to a Sacramento Republic FC match
· A lunch experience with Chairman Kevin Nagle (subject to availability)
5. Prize Conditions
· The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered.
· The trip must be taken within 12 months of winner notification (unless otherwise agreed), and is subject to availability.
· Travel dates may be restricted (e.g. blackout periods, peak travel dates).
6. Travel Requirements
· The winner and any travel companion are responsible for ensuring they have:
o Valid passports
o Any necessary visas or ESTA approvals
o Appropriate travel insurance
· The Promoter accepts no responsibility for failure to obtain required travel documentation.
7. Car Hire Conditions
· The winner (or nominated driver) must:
o Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
o Be legally permitted to drive in the United States
o Meet the car hire company’s age (usually 21+) and licence requirements
· The winner must be willing and able to drive in the United States, as alternative transport may be limited.
· Any additional costs (e.g. insurance upgrades, fuel, deposits, fines) are the responsibility of the winner.
8. Additional Costs
· Unless explicitly stated, the prize does not include:
o Meals (other than the specified lunch)
o Spending money beyond the $500 gift card
o Travel insurance
o Airport transfers (unless stated)
o Any additional excursions or personal expenses
9. Winner Selection and Notification
· The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
· The winner will be notified via the contact details provided within 3 days of the draw date.
· If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 14 days, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
10. Publicity
· The winner agrees to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the promotion, including use of their name and image, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
11. Prize Availability
· If any element of the prize becomes unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value.
12. Liability
· The Promoter accepts no responsibility for:
o Any loss, injury, or damage suffered in connection with the prize, except where required by law
o Any travel disruptions, delays, or cancellations outside its control
· Participation in the prize and any related activities is at the winner’s own risk.
13. Data Protection
· Personal data will be used solely for the administration of this promotion and in accordance with UK data protection laws.
14. General
· The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the promotion at any time, if necessary, due to circumstances beyond its control.
· By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
· These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law.
